India's health challenges are not just medical -
Founded as a not-for-profit trust under the Indian Trust Act, HEAL Foundation is India's leading social advocacy platform dedicated to healthcare communication. We bring together scientists, doctors, journalists, development agencies, policymakers, and communities — and give them a shared stage to create real, lasting change.
For over 15 years, we have been building bridges between those who know health and those who need to.

A Message from Our Founder
Healthcare is not just about hospitals and medicines. It is about conversations — the one a doctor has with a patient, the one a journalist has with a reader, the one a policymaker has with a community. The quality of these conversations shapes the quality of India's health.
HEAL Foundation was born from a very simple belief: that when the right information reaches the right people at the right time, lives are saved. I have seen this happen. I have seen a health journalist's story change the way a family in a small town understands diabetes. I have seen a community awareness drive reduce the fear — and stigma — around vaccination. These are not small victories. These are the building blocks of a healthier nation.
Thank you for being a part of this mission.
