India's Largest Network of Health Communicators
Good health reporting saves lives. Bad health reporting endangers them.
In 2005, when HEAL Foundation launched the Health Writers & Editors Network, most Indian newspapers did not have a dedicated health journalist. Health stories were being written by journalists from political or crime beats — leading to misreporting, misinformation, and real harm to readers, doctors, and healthcare brands alike.
We decided to change that.
