Mr. R Shankar, President, HEAL Foundation

Mr. R Shankar has more than 30 years of experience in the field of journalism and also has organized over 200 health writers’ workshops and 7 national health writers and editors’ conventions in the past 5 years. He was formerly associated with New Indian Express as Resident Editor (Karnataka & Kerala) and later took over as Managing Editor of NewsTime Now. Currently, he is the President of HEAL Foundation & Chairperson of the Organizing Committee of HEAL Foundation Health Writers and Editors Convention, and a consultant with many media houses.
