Dr Arun Prasad is a Senior  GI & Bariatric Surgeon, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, 2020 onwards. Prior to this he was the Head of Department of Surgery, Chief of Surgical Gastroenerology & Bariatric Surgery, Manipal Hospitals, New Delhi.

He has been ruling the field for the past 35 years. His contribution to the field has garnered international acclaim. An alumni of some of the most prestigious institutions both in India and abroad, Dr Prasad has been practicing Laparoscopic Surgery right from the time it first started in the UK. he is hailed as one of the first generation of laparoscopic surgeons.
