Dr Mahesh Verma, Vice Chancellor of Guru Gobind Singh IP University, New Delhi

Dr Mahesh Verma is an Indian prosthodontist. He is the Director and Principal of Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences. He is the Vice Chancellor of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. He has helped develop MAIDS, the dental wing of Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, from a dental school of meager proportions into a Centre of Excellence with a daily count of over 1200 inpatients. The government of India conferred on him Padma Shri in 2014. He is Conferred with Dr B. C. Roy National Award in 2007.
