Where Knowledge Becomes Action

The HEAL Hub is where knowledge becomes action. It is the intellectual and educational engine of HEAL Foundation — housing our networks for health communicators, our awareness programmes, our digital learning initiatives, and our recognition platforms for healthcare changemakers.

India's Largest Network of Health Communicators
Good health reporting saves lives. Bad health reporting endangers them.
In 2005, when HEAL Foundation launched the Health Writers & Editors Network, most Indian newspapers did not have a dedicated health journalist. Health stories were being written by journalists from political or crime beats — leading to misreporting, misinformation, and real harm to readers, doctors, and healthcare brands alike.
We decided to change that.
Why This Matters
Accurate health communication is not optional — it directly influences public behaviour, treatment outcomes, and trust in healthcare systems. HEAL Foundation's initiative bridges the gap between medical science and public understanding.
