Non-COVID patients suffered a lot during COVID-19 lockdown. Considering the essence of bringing this issue to the public domain, a webinar under the series — COVID FIGHTERS PUBLIC HEALTH SAFETY MOVEMENT was organised on: Are non-COVID essential healthcare services becoming casualty due to COVID-19 pandemic? Mr Sudhir Mishra, Medico-Legal Expert participated and deliberated on the pros & cons of the issue. He emphasised that seeking and availing essentials healthcare services is every patient’s right, which must not be compromised in any circumstance. The state must ensure that the essential healthcare services to be delivered to non-COVID patients.
